Each year the six pubs of Long Itchington combine to bring the nations best beer festival to the village. With
over 150 beers on sale throughout the long May Day bank holiday weekend and a variety of entertainment available,
Long Itchington is the place to be.

Preview evening Thursday 3rd May 2010 sample a variety of festival beers without
the crowds.

Fri 4th May 7.30 ish. The Score. Very professional covers band with a few surprises. (Warmup gig for their
imminent arena tour of the world)*
Sat 5th May. 7.30ish Rocky Road. Three kids with a crazy dream. Will they break
it big in the future*
Sunday 6th May 2.00pm Three Men In A Boat. Folk Favourites

Long Itchington Beer Festival 2011 has now finished. 30,000 plus pints were sold throughout

Entertainment 7.30 The Score. Fantastic covers band includes Long Itchingtons very own Nick Wicks on
drums.
Sat 30th April Beer Festival
Food Oodles Of Noodles will be available all day long. Cooked freshly in front of you by chinese acrobatic midgets
on stilts*
Perfect pizzas also available from the kitchen as well as a selection of filled rolls sandwiches and
baguettes.
Entertainment Long
Itchington Womens Institute and Holy Trinity Church will have a tombola stall at the front of the pub.

The beast is back
Sarah Hughes
Dark Ruby 6% The famous and lovely festival favourite. This beer has put more men on the the moon than NASA.
Brampton Golden Bud (3.8%) A well balanced light, golden, hoppy bitter. Grapefruit nose and citrus flavours give way to a mellow, slightly
sweet after-taste. Complex malt character. Brampton
Impy Dark (4.3%) Packed to the gunwales with roasted coffee
and chocolate aroma and flavours. Delicately hopped.
Ossett Yorkshire Blonde (3.7%) Pale coloured ale, full bodied, well-rounded and slightly sweet on the palate.
Mighty Oak Mauldon Gold (3.8%) Using Maris Otter pale malt for a light
golden ale with biscuity malt flavours. Distinctive citrus character along with a long dry bitter finish.
O’Hanlons Yellowhammer (4.2%) Tropical fruit (ripe banana) flavour with
an interplay between the biscuity malt and the fruitiness.
Spire Darkside of the Moon (4.3%) Luscious dark mild, packed with toffee malt flavour and a hint of ‘roastiness’.
Hammerpot Red Hunter (4.3%) A
deep mahogany to ruby red bitter. Full bodied and slightly vinous malt character.
Newby Wyke Red Squall (4.4%) A rich
red beer full of fruit and malt with a good hop character and aroma from Mount Hood hops.
Houston Black & Tan (4.2%) Black and Tan is traditionally a mix of Warlock Stout and Killellan Pale.
Houston Tartan Terror (4.5%) A beautifully balanced Mahogany coloured ale created with a fusion of selected Malts and Hops to create an
outstanding Malty, Roast taste and a wonderful delicate aroma.
Rudgate Ruby Mild (4.3%) Nutty, rich ruby ale,
stronger than usual for a mild.
Copper Dragon Black Gold (3.7%) Roast
character throughout with coffee flavours and a tangy fruit note in the background. Bitter and malty finish.
Concertina Old
Dark Attic (3.8%) A dark brown ale beer with
a fairly sweet, fruity taste.
Potbelly Beijing Black (4.4%) A strong dark mild, Mild but not Meek!!
Moor
Somerland Gold (5.0%) Hoppy blonde ale with hints of honey and a long, hoppy finish.
Wold Top Wold
Gold (4.8%) A blonde Summer beer whose taste belies
its strength, a delightful beer with a soft, fruity flavour with just a hint of spice.
Phoenix White
Monk (4.5%) Yellow beer with a citrus fruit aroma,
plenty of fruit, hops and bitterness in the taste, and a hoppy, bitter finish.
Cottage
Golden Arrow (4.5%) A light golden colour with a distinctive floral hop
flavour and aroma. A refreshing, thirst quenching pint. Cottage
Gold
Rush (5.0%)
A deep golden ale, brewed with Cascade hops,
well balanced, crisp and refreshing.
St. Georges Dragons Blood (4.8%) A ruby red beer with a citrus flavour.
Wentworth Black
Zac (4.6%) A mellow, dark ruby red
ale with chocolate and pale malts, to give a ready made “Black and Tan “.
Breconshire Red
Dragon (4.7%) A red hued premium ale brewed with
a complex grist and a blend of hops for extra bite.
Beartown Polar Eclipse (4.8%) Classic black,
dry and bitter stout, with roast flavours to the fore.
Williams
Midnight Sun (5.6%) Black Porter style beer, created from a blend of malted barley, oats,
roast barley and chocolate malt, balanced with a generous handful of hops and a wee bit of fresh root ginger.
We are fully booked for the Long Itchington Beer Festival 2012. If you
stayed with us in 2011 you are already booked in for 2012, please ring to confirm asap. Further
